A great version of the board game. Great UI. Im going to be playing this game for hours!

Great if you know the game. UI could be more intuitive and the transition animations are a little cumbersome. AI seems like it needs some work. But overall a very good effort.

Fantastic game!! I have hard time playing the board game with opponents, so this is a great way to scratch that itch.

Took a bit to understand what was what, but after one game, it became simple to play. The AI isnt great, and the use of Open Feint over a more direct means of playing online isnt ideal. Still, a very good implementation of a great board game.

This is a great game, very very fun..... Really enjoying this game... Complex enough yet fast pace...

The graphics are top notch and so is the animation of same. Particularly likes the bottomless pits that open up in the sand. Of course, the game is the thing and on that score I am pleased with the level of competition offered by the Artificial Intelligence. Ra! Is a game where finesse and strategy play the dominant role. To model this with rules is a challenge and it is well done here, especially considering the media and price. My money was well spent on this item and I enjoy playing every game.

Im a huge fan of Ra. It has long been one of my favourite games. I was excited to try the iOS implementation. Unfortunately, its a huge let down. The cardboard version is quite pretty, but this digital version is just ugly. Although the game functions like it should mechanically speaking, it plays far too slowly with a lot of unnecessary animations that can not be turned off. It is a royal pain to determine what your opponents have been collecting, and the scoring at the end of each epoch is sorely missing a sum total for each player (how did they miss this?). I would not recommend anyone purchase this app.

Excellent game and a good adaptation but the current version crashes a lot... Also, as with most iOS board games I find the AI pretty weak.

Although not my favourite Knezia bidding game, this version does a great job with the presentation, speed and AI. A very accurate port that obviously has some design compromises for the small screen - but overall it really comes together nicely.

Ra is, of course, a fantastic board game and the app captures its essence well --- but it goes further to add so much visual traffic that the game actually makes me nauseous. The "shifting sands" graphic that underlays the game board simulates the sensation of carsickness and is extremely distracting. Moreover, the unnecessary "sand swirl" that takes up the whole screen when a Ra tile is drawn might be passable if it didnt happen as often. It would be much preferable if, for example, the tile merely lit up or shook with a strong sound cue. As it is, theres a churning, distracting background and a constant in-your-face interruption that really come between the player and the game.

Ra is one of the great board games of recent memory and this version is fantastic.

I played the dice game and the mechanics are quite different but this app is very satisfying after you play a couple of games. Try with few AI to start and be aware bidding all your suns puts you on the sidelines quickly. Youll soon be smokin them. Some AI are more powerful and should be kept in mind also. Good gaming!

Great time waster!

This is an awesome version of the classic board game; it flows much faster and looks way better with the beautiful HD graphics. Would have expected to pay more, compared to the prices I have paid for other less attractive games. Great deal!

Great fun, easy to learn. Helps a lot with strategy when playing the actual game.

I have been playing this game for a while now. The integration to the Game Center is a very welcome addition from this version. Unfortunately, this new feature has been done at the expense of stability.

This is still an old, deeply flawed version of the classic bidding game. Trading tiles no longer crashes the app, but every other flaw remains - the nearly invisible time track and tile highlight, the lack of a proper score summary, pop-up ads for other games, etc. Its such a shame that Dr.Knizia sells his games rights to such third rate devs, because the physical version of Ra is an excellent bidding game.
