Not playable in multi player mode. Complete waste.

Great game, great implementation. My only wish would be for stronger AI. Game Center integration is nice, but this game isnt the best when played asynchronous (turns are too small). I wish there was a way of knowing if the other players intention was to play live, but that is a wish for Game Center not this app.

Challenging AI, excellent graphics, I have no regret for purchasing this game.

Just finished a game where in the third epoch, Ra tile was drawn every action. Like a dozen in a row. Also the "X" and "checkmark" did not appear one time during a turn. Forced to use a god tile to continue playing. Both these issues happened in the same five player local game. That, along with under a handful of similar issues in the dozen games Ive played need a patch. Other than that, great app!

The game is fantastic - if you can manage to get through it without the app crashing, that is. The gameplay and rules ensure a for a plethora of possible strategies. No two games are the same. No two games can be finished without the app crashing, either. Sometimes, the app just zaps out. Click on the app and you pick things up right where you were. Sometimes, gameplay just freezes and you have to restart. That makes me regret purchasing the app: youre never sure the game will reach its conclusion, which diminishes your enjoyment quite a bit.

Good "filler" or party board game, this adaptation to the ipad is a success.

This app is simple and well designed from a spiffy little auction game. The interface is good (once you disable the help messages). And the sound/music and dust animation is a nice touch. A few of the AI opponents make some ridiculous choices from time to time, but since you are able to choose which ones you play against, that should not be too big a problem. Oh, and if you have an outdated IOS like I do, you wont be able to play online. :(

The game is fun to play but unfortunately, as in most of Coditos other games, suffers from cheezy graphics and low production quality. There are also some completely unnecessary and low quality animations with no way to turn them off. They serve no other purpose then iritating the user and quite possibly making things harder for the developers. Other than those, the game is fun to play. I wish that it had better AI players though. It is very easy to win against them.

No support for iPhone 5 or better.

You cant go wrong with codito and knizia. fantastic graphic and addictive gameplay.

Read the date of my review: DONT BUY THIS GAME. You will be throwing away your money, and Codito knows this full well; they havent bothered to update this broken game, but they will gladly take your money. My review a month ago: Ra is a hall of fame game, as a board game. But now its broken as a iPad app; like a previous reviewer, I played this game for maybe six hours, and then it stopped working for a solitaire game completely. They charge for this, and they know its broken (lots of people report this on their web page), so they take peoples money and thumb their noses at those people.

The only great thing about this app is getting to play RA on my phone. That’s pretty much it. Other than that its just… bad. The graphics are lack luster at best. Using a thin Papyrus font over everything is difficult to read and looks sloppy. The game ‘board’ barely reaches the edge of my screen and the font just spills off the edge. The tiles (which are the cleanest graphics of the entire game) don’t even match up with the board. I have to assume the game was designed for the iPhone 4 and never updated afterward and it’s trying to fill out the 5,6 and now 7 screens to terrible result. I would suggest cleaning it up and get it back to the original board games bright clean look or update it to capture the realistic tactile look of the new printing along with getting it to resize it’s self appropriately to whichever device it’s on. Also the music is repetitive and dull. At least let the music last through a few turns before repeating. Also most of the "effects” such as the hole in the sand opening to swallow tiles and the "invoking RA whirlwind is cheesy and slows the pace of the game down so I just leave them turned off. This is a great board game. One of the best out there. It deserves better.

I was sold on RA before I bought the IPAD version. Latest update freezing or even kicks you completely out of the program! Please test before sending updates....need fix. My device was plugged in with no other apps running....so not a space or power issue...but rather a code bug. Do run local w/4 messages off. Would give max stars once it works!

Excellent game, graphics, sound, gameplay all outstanding. It inspired me to write my first review. Love the board game and love having it on my iPhone. Not cramped at all. Fits perfectly.

A truly wonderful re-creation of the table game Ra. About the game: Players bid to collect tiles. Different tiles give bonuses or hurt your score. The rounds are quick and the bidding is fierce. What I enjoy above all of this is that the rounds can end quicker or last longer than you want because of the Ra tiles. About the app: This is a well-done version of the table game. Animations are smooth, but youll want to tweak them faster as you familiarize yourself with the gameplay. The AI is appropriately challenging, and basically this gives me a fix in between games with friends and family.

I like this game a lot, but it has incessant crashes and hangs. Thats particularly annoying when Im ahead in the game. The graphics are excellent, the game play is interesting, although it takes quite a while to become familiar with the rules. I hope the developer continues to improve this game so that I can enjoy playing it. No contact for the developer in the App Store.

I really like this game and it has great graphics, but the pop-up screens to tell players (even computer players) that they can bid is highly disruptive and annoying, and slows down game play.

Beautiful graphics, and good working of the ancient Egypt theme. I found knowing the boardgame helps a lot. The AI is okay. I note annoyingly frequent crashes on my iPad. Sometimes the game just quits, and you can simply restart. Sometimes it hangs, and you have to start a new game completely.
